I am about ready to tackle one of the pdls that I defaulted on, but hasn't called me or emailed me for months! Now that most of the dust has cleared from the other 6, I feel like I can concentrate on my last defaulted three now, Cashnetusa, Power Funding, and National Moneystore.

So I called Power Funding and they sent me over to a collection agency, which wasn't a surprise because they had sent me an email about it back in February, but I had to call because I had no idea who they sent me to. So the lady there told me they turned me over to I-Collect at 866-856-1024, and thought it was strange they hadn't contacted me yet. She told me I have to leave a message for them and someone would call me back.

I had taken out a $200 loan with Power Funding and they charged a $60 refinance fee, which I did a couple of times. So does anyone know how much extra fees I-collect is going to tack on, or are they pretty reasonable? Also do they pretty easy to set up payment arrangements?

Ok, I will have to check later tonight and look at my bank statements. I am not sure how to deal with Power Funding or I-collect...should I call and leave them a voicemail after I figure out how much I have paid, or should I send them a letter? I'm not even sure if I-collect has my account now. Or should I just wait until they decide to contact me???

Get the address for I-Collect and have them validate the debt...if you are enthused to get these cleared, might as well. And yea, took a peek at the WI laws...not a lot of leverage :(

You will find the Payday loan laws for Wisconsin here (just select your state),
