First off I would like to say thanks for the great advice that I have been receiving from this forum. I have several payday loans that I am trying to get behind me. I am a resident of Pennsylvania so that is a big plus.

My question is: Is it ok to present to the payday loan co. an ultimatium that either they consider my loan paid in full and closed or they are welcome to take me to court (arbitration). I know it sounds so cut and dry but wouldn't that stop all the back and forth annoying phone calls, E-mails, etc..?? I am sure the answer is no but thought I would get some advice.

The information I wanted to share is for anyone that is from PA, or any state that prohibits or restricts payday loans might be interested in going to this link regarding a complaint to Cure cash, which by the way is one of the companies I am dealing with.

http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/consumer_information/14322/1_6_issued_orders/598837. You can find this on the Dept of banking web site.

It gives me hope that the state is really trying to do something about these companies and that they are taking the complaints seriously. SO please take the time to file complaints with your state and any other agency that might be able to help.

I will probably be back again with some more questions. Thanks again everyone for your help!

Yes - I realize that they will not be taking me to court but I was just wondering that if I say to them "consider my account paid in full and closed or you may take me to court" if that will help speed up the process of them dropping the case. In essence I am giving them 2 choices and there is really nothing further more to discuss.

I received a telephone call from Advance Me today at work on Monday. I told him that I would have to call him back. He gave me the # to reach him and said that if I did not call him by 6:00 he would be sending my account to arbitration. Needless to say I did not call him back and haven't heard from them since which I find odd since I heard they are one of the worst.

Cure Cash (the one mentioned in my previous post) I talked to on the phone and left them know that I was aware of the complaint brought against them. Cust. service's response was that they are no longer able to offer residents of PA loans, however that I still owed them and she gave me the address where to send payment. I asked here if they responded to the complaint and she said "absolutely".

My Cash Now has not responded yet but I have used them for years so they are into me big for interest due. I have yet to hear from Yellowdale but I hear they suck to deal with also. Just finding it a bit strange I haven't heard anything yet from any of them.

I filed a compaint with the FTC regarding AMT, In the letter (e-mail) I sent them I told them they no longer have authroization to debit my bank account (ACH) and 2 days later they tried so I know that they violated a federal law. I also warned them not to contact me by phone so that is another violation. I also spoke to the PA banking department by phone but it was a general question and not about a particular Loan Co., but I will now that I know they might actually do something.

Sorry for such a long post. Hopefully going forward they will be a lot shorter than this. Thanks

Advance Me Today: Heard from them Monday - told to call by 6:00 to avoid arbitration (lol). Never called and my account is still showing a balance.

My Cash Now - Logged in and my account says 0.00. I have not heard anything from them but I paid over 3,000.00 of interest in the last couple of years so I think they are playing it safe and yes I will be asking them again for interest/fees to be reimbursed.

White Hills Cash - Got an E-mail from them about being Tribal. I responded that I am waiting to hear back from PA Banking Dept and AG's office regarding the legality of the loan. I told them I would get back to them earlier next week. Actually pretty friendly back and forth but I am sure that will change.

YellowDale - Heard nothing back from them. I think this one will be a challenge since No address and can't E-mail them. I sent them a message through their website.

Loan Shop OnLine- Have not heard back from them but I heard they are pretty easy to deal with. We will see.

A few others I have not heard from - 1 Click Cash and United - Both claiming to be Tribal and I heard that they are a pain. So have my work cut out for me on these 2.

**Sitting here typing this makes me sick. I consider myself a pretty intelligent person but not when it comes to this. Holy cow it is down right embarrassing.
