Hey guys,
Its been awhile since I have been on. I had multiple storefront and online PDL"s that I either paid off (the legal ones) or got paid in full letters from the illegal ones except for ZIP19, Hadn't heard anything lately. Today I recieved a call from a private number. I missed the call and a guy named John Carls left a message stating that is was a process server and needed to verify my address and place of employment to serve me. He stated since he could not get ahold of me to arrange a convient time he would continue to attempt to serve me at my home and employment(even though it needs to be verfied). He then stated if I had any questions I needed to give the plantiff a call at 877 246 2613 and gave a reference number. When I called it was a recording stating I had reached America(yup that was the whole name) and wait for an operator. I ended the call and came here for some advice. I am pretty sure the is BS. I was just wanting to get some tips on what to say when I actually call so I don't screw myself. The only debt I have other than the Zip19, in which they recieved the principal amount is debt that is outside the SOL. thanks in advance!

do not pay anymind to any call that is either "private"or "unknown".ignore this idiot completely, but if they persist file AG complaints against them using the number they give to call.
