I am so upset with them. I received a call from an attorney's office this afternoon, which they also called my husband from which I'm separated from. Anyways I called them, they said that if I don't come up with a certain amount by Friday that they are going to send it to the courts here in the county I reside in, stating that its in regards to a fraudant check charging outrageous fees and that I could have my wages garnished, which I told them that in the state of Florida they could not garnish my wages. They also said that I could serve time. This is back from 2007. I have the paperwork that I sent them regarding stopping the ach's and stuff. Again I'm so upset that I can't even hardly type. Also said they would have the paper's serve to me at work. How embarrassing! I just don't know what to do.

I'm going to go through my things in my storage unit this weekend to find past paperwork I had on them. It being approximately 3 years old, I can't remember that far back. lol Should I file a complaint with FTC against the so called attorney office that called me, plus also my soon to be ex husband? Or file it against Quickest Cash Advance? Thank you so much for your guidance with this!

Listen to what PaulMergel and Shazzers say; MTE and their affiliates are bottom feeders and will tell you all kinds of nonsense to try and get money from you. Keep copies of e-mails and other written communications, but don't listen to their threats. And of course if you have any questions, please feel free to ask 'em here. Just about all of us have been in your situation at one time or other.
