does anyone have any info on rapidcashforyou.com based in midvale, utah? im in pa trying to pay these people off and i cant get anything from them.

Hi Kar...what do you mean you can't get anything from them? as far as validation for what you owe? have you tried calling them?
Here's my experience with websites Kar...
I clicked on their link and when you are asked to give your bank information as part of your application there is no https: security feature on their website! What correspondence do you have with this company? have anything in writing? I checked the Better Business Bureau for you (on their website) and from what I see they don't have anything on their site. Additionally, when I googled this site I tried to get testimonials from other users and nothing.
I think it will help us if we know what kind of correspondence you have, maybe an email that you retained?

kar, PA law states prohibited regarding pdls. However, if the pdl is licensed SOMEWHERE, they will be acknowledged. You need to find out if Rapid Cash For You is licensed ANYWHERE in the US. If they are not, they are illegal.

I checked and rapidcashforyou.com is licensed so they can collect. I found their license in Utah. I called for my loan which is past due and I was given their payment services number 1 866 410 4237 and they did help me out with some different options.

You are making them legally stronger:

If you take a loan out and agree to any companies terms, pay it back per there terms. Companies like the one mentioned report to agencies such as Teletrack and DP Bureau and the information with the bureaus are a matter of public record. Basically, they are unifying and your failure to pay them back will cause them to prevent you from doing business with anyone, including financial institutions. Read your contracts, if your old enough to loan, be responsible.

All you people are doing is ensuring these lenders register out of the country allowing them to be completely protected from lawsuits and giving them the ability to sue. You have no idea the additional costs involved when they add the legal fees to your accounts for a garnishment and it gives credit counsellors the impossible task of trying to prevent legal action from occurring.

They have to give you thirty days / 2 pay periods. Take advantage of that. If you need to reborrow when paid, start lowering your amount you borrow gradually. You all have no idea that failure to pay companies like this causes them to move offshore, and trust me, I deal with them daily, the more refusals to pay, the more the owners lick there chops.

This company is one of the few that is "Licensed". Which means, they can hand there debts over to agencies, usually after 30 days, and they ALWAYS recommend legal action. That sucks!!!

give it a rest both of you, this pdl is not licensed so they have no legal recourse okay.secondly let them go overseas, then they really have no leverage whatsoever.so buh-bye to both of you.

Everyone seems to TAKE the money with no complaints. I have had numerous payday loans, and I had trouble paying them back. But I knew I had too. Period. I signed a contract and got the money. What more can they ask other than the money back with the fee. If you borrow $500, you have to pay more than that back, otherwise these companies stop lending to people with GOOD intentions because they go bankrupt. Then, your car breaks down and since your credit is so shot you have no way to get to work, bet you wish then you didn't try and screw someone over.

Responsible adult, what do you consider a fair amt to payback as fee/finance charges? And please point me out to the poster that has said they took out a payday loan, then decided against paying back what they borrowed and sought advice from this forum to screw the pdl out of the borrowed amount.

RA..The agreement was for $300 plus $90..which I paid; I have proof of payment. They ignored my request, provided to them according to their agreement, that this be a payoff and they continued to debit my account. They would not respond to phone calls, messages, faxes, or emails. I went to my bank for help, and my bank closed by account..not me...my bank. Understand that? So who, in this senario, did not follow the agreement?

to the credit councelor:
if you know you owe this money and you are trying to make arrangements to pay this back and the collection agency refuses to work with you, what can you do? You said they must give you 30 days/2 pay periods to repay? if they do not accept this, then are you still at fault if they do not accept this and can you still send the money to them anyways if they do not accept these terms?
