Bayside Cash

I sent an email to Bayside Cash advising them based on state of NJ payday loans are prohibited. And will only pay back the principal amount. I borrowed $400 and paid two "renewal payments" of $120 each which leaves me with a balance of $160. And am willing to pay back in 3 payments.
I received an email correspondence back:
"I am showing your balance at this time is $ 700.00 What type of arrangements are looking to make I am able to offer you the following $ 140.00 for 5 payment.
You do qualifies for a settlement in the amount of $ 499.69 good till the 3/30th ..."
I'd like to respond back to them in a calm and rational tone ... so what is the best way to respond?
