I received the exact same email from United Cash. One click tried to call me on Saturday and it got heated on the phone. They would not accept any less than the $455 they think they are owed. I had started a previous topic about these 2 companied back 1st part of June. This has been their first communications. What should we do now?

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL.

Do you owe a total of $455 with one click cash. If it is so, I think it is not a very big amount and you can pay it off after getting the debt validated, if they do not want to settle the debt for less. This is because, if they really own your debt and you do not pay them off, they can bring judgment against you, which might adversely affect your credit score.

If this is an illegal loan, they can not bring judgement against you.
What state do you live in ?

An original creditor does not validate the loan, only a ca does that.
How much was you loan with them, and how much did you already pay in total to them.
The advice above is incorrect so please do not worry

please answer the questions guest asked.you don't owe 455.00 if you have filed AG complaints forward that e-mail to them.do not fall for the BS all MTE d/b/a's shovel out.in fact if these people call again let them know the emails have been forwarded.again,do not believe a word from these idiots, and don't give them a thing until they agree in writing on how much you really owe if anything.

I live in Florida and am aware that they are illegal. My originial loans amounts were.
United Cash $450 have pd $340
One Click Cash $350 have pd $315

When we talked to One click Saturday we told them that we would pay the $35 principal and even offered to pay what was legal to accept in Florida for fees and they flat denied and said nope you owe $455.

I talked to someone at the AG's office yesterday and he said an investigator should be contacting us this week. We thought that we had all this settled as they said we had made no payments to them and my husband faxed them proof we had. Well they told him those weren't payments they were rollover fees. My husband tried to explain that Florida is a non-rollover state and they said too bad that we have not paid anything and they want all their money plus what we have already paid. My husband has written down everyone's names and I guess when the AG's office calls we will let them know what has transpired.

exactly.they are illegal and any rollovers or fees go towards the loan.let the AG'S office know of your conversation with them.

Are you talking about United Cash Loans? They are a REAL pain to deal with. As for people working their way out of the PDL's, I think if you do a search on this site you'll find many success stories, including my own! It takes time, you DO still get the harassing e-mails and phone calls, but there is hope! I would suggest documenting all e-mails/calls you receive from these companies and keeping in touch with your AG/State Financial Regulatory Agency.
