I have several payday loans,I have closed my account and have opened a new account but at the same bank.Since I am consolidating the pdls They suggested that I close the account. Is there any way for the pdls that refuse to work with the consolidating co.to take money from my new account? Three of the pdls wont agree to work with the company.I have learned that internet pdls are illegal in my state! I am current with them but they will be returned due to closed account this week. What is the best way to try to get them to work with me?

You've stated that the payday lenders are illegal in your state. In such a situation, you should simply pay them the principal amount and stop all interaction with them. You're not liable for paying any fees or other charges. If you've paid them more than your principal amount, then you should demand a refund from them.

What Anna has mentioned is quite true...these days a majority of the online payday lenders are operating illegally. They don't have the license to operate in all U.S. states.

Yes, if you wish to demand a refund, you must serve a notice to your PDL. Your demand for a refund has to be clearly mentioned in your notice, and you must also specify the cause of it. Along with the reason, you have to share your contact information. I guess the refund has to be made to you within 2 business days. You may probably collect it in person or choose to get it mailed to your address.
