OK...as some of you may know...I had my last 4 ipdls in a debt management program. I left them there because I either still owed on the principle or they refused to my demands. I put 4 in there and handled the other 6 on my own. I am now ready to get rid of these. The next two I have to work on are:

Zip Cash borrowed $200. have now paid $300.
Ameriloan: borrowed $200. have now paid $360.

Now I know they are illegal and all that...I am looking for how they react and what should be my first move. I had sent C&D letters back in June and then made arrangements with them through my dmp. Any knowledge on their working will be much appreciated. I have till Oct. 10th to pull them out of the DMP before the next payment goes out.

NBo I didn't file these with the AG yet...when I started I still owed both of them a small amount so I worked just on the ones I had overpaid and put 4 into my dmp. Now I am looking at the DMP and see I have now over paid these, at least to Indiana law. I am thinking of asking for PIF's before filing complaints and wanted some input as to how difficult they would be..LOL.

Zip Cash is also known as netcashusa and I think somewhere along the line on one of my threads someone said they were illegal. I called them last week to pay my loan off in full and let me tell you they got mad at me for wanting to pay it off in full early. After that experience on the phone I emailed them stating that I wanted something in writing from them after my payment was received, which they grudgingly sent me. The only one I am waiting on now is to hear back from MTE/Quickest-cash-advance who I faxed a letter to on Friday stating that I wanted to pay my account in full early and that after the payment was received I wanted something in writing from them showing it paid in full. So I dont know how willing zipcash will be to work with you morningstar but best of luck to you.

Thanks for clarifying that Goudah.. I went back and was rereading the threads to try and find where I had seen it at, and when I found it read the posts after that and saw where you had found the license. Work has been busy enough that I wasnt completely able to keep up on the posts the last few days. Right now I am just telling myself that I just have to get thru tonight and I am off for a week for my birthday. I so need the break at this point.

morningstarr, Indiana doesn't allow internet lending if they're licensed in another state. Am I correct in this? If so, you've paid the principle as well as what your state law allows (if they were even legal). You do know that ameriloan is MTE Financial. They will claim you still owe money. This one will put up a fight to the end. I've read people getting pif's from Zip Cash once they state their laws and that they are illegal in their state. I just can't remember if Indiana allows internet pdl's if they're licensed somewhere. I don't believe they do. But Ameriloan will fight you. If you have confidence in your state AG, you can fight them. But they will not resolve it with you through just the BBB unless you want to pay them more. They will offer a "settlement" and ask for more money. Your state AG is the best bet on that one if you want to fight it.
