checksmart here in Ohio has refused my partial payment. They are mailing back the money order I sent them. Should I just keep sending them payments anyways? It is all I can do right now.

They mailed back your money order?

Never heard of a place refusing payment. That's strange, I'd say send it back certified mail, return receipt requested. That way you can have proof that you sent them something and they refused it. If they try anything in the realm of civil action you can have proof that you tried and they were being unreasonable.

Wouldn't the returned envelope be enough proof JCEMT? Even if they put it in one of theirs, would that be enough proof? Just asking. I know I have dealt with Checksmart and the only way I was able to get across to them I could only make payments was to talk to the Supervisor of the Manager. They eventually gave in and accepted payments, it wasn't easy to convince them though, a lot of time was wasted going back and forth with them then if they would have just agreed in the first place. :?
