Need advice-Drowing in PDL

All I have received is an email stating that my account has been sent to National Credit Adjusters with and account number and a phone number.

I got a phone call today (message) left on my work number and my with my husband on my home phone which I have never given out that they have papers to serve me and I need to call 877-218-5057 in reference to number 891099. I just called the number back and it was NCS services. I still have not spoken to anyone. So I am not sure which one this is.

Throw out the phone number...it is a scam. No real process server calls in advance.

Should I call to see which one it is? I still have a few I am waiting to here back from again?

That has been my goal. I have not spoken to anyone, except through email. I have even had to stress that a few times. I just changed my home number for this and made it unlisted. My cell I just only answer calls I know.

Ok, I got the same message from the same woman (private investigator this time) saying since they have been unable to reach me by phone or mail (I have received nothing by mail) that she will be serving me paper with the local authorities at my work or home whatever address they have on file. Should I worry???

Do not worry! Just more scam BS. You have go to remember that debts are civil, not criminal, nothing will happen to you.

Just worried someone is going to come knocking on my door at home and bothering my family. I am at work and no one even knows where that is.

Hope, no one is coming to your house, your place of employment, even the local grocery store. Stop worrying. I cant say it any plainer than that. NO ONE is going to knock on your door!!

i know it can be stessful at times,but knowing these people are nothing but unarrested criminals is one way to look at this.i'm glad you are not answering unfamiiar numbers.now the trick is to delete those messages again knowing they are nothing but unarrested criminals.

I just got another Paid in Full email. That is one more down, just a few more to go!. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If I could just get rid of the threatning collection calls from the one. I am not even sure which one this is???

one congrats on another PIF,and did you file a police report yet?what miss mary rottencrotch is doing is against the law as impersonating law enforcement,or any person involved with the court system,or justice system is a crime.i can feel yaz though because i felt the same way at first,but realized how illegal,and pathetic these losers are.i still every 9 months get messages from mis mary rottencrotch,and middle east trash.i just laugh my ass off and delete the message.stay strong the calls as long as you don't talk to these wastes does get alot less in time.trust me on that.

The funny thing is the one I got on my home phone which I change was an American and that person also called my work number but not my cell. Most call my cell as that is the main number I gave out. I do get those crazy foreign people on my cell and I just delete or yes block some of the persistent ones. I have not filed a police report and not sure where to start. I work in one county and live in another.

I heard back from another which finally agreed to my terms and for one is not to pay back more than the principal. I have another that I never heard back from at all. They stopped taking out money from my account when I had asked but I never heard back from them. Is that normal? I had over paid them.

This is normal. For the one, that you have not heard from yet, I would send your letter 1 or 2 times more. No response, from them, forget about them. Congratulations on lender which agreed to your terms. Feels good doesn't it!!!
