I Finally Did It!!!!!!!

I have been lurking and reading for MONTHS now trying to get the courage to close my bank and account and deal with these lenders. My entire paycheck has been going to pay the loans and I've been working any kind of odd job on top of my full time job just to keep up with other bills...and I have been losing the battle.
Well this weekend after what seems like 200 sleepless nights and stomach pains so awful that I thought I was going to die because of the stress,I finally decided that I had had enough. It's time to take back control of my money.
I bank with Bank of America and they tried to tell me that any ACH will reopen my account and basically I was stuck, but I stood my ground and spoke to several people before I got an answer that I was looking for. they are closing my account and opening a new one and they told me that a DEBIT ACH will not reopen my account only a CREDIT...but I will wait till Friday to put my mind totally at ease, I'm still nervous that something is going to go wrong and I'm going to be stuck with $10000000000 in fees.
I will be doing my homework tonight and getting my letters to send all of my lenders (and there are 8 of them YIKES)...I will be listing who I owe, how much I borrowed and how much I've paid back so I can get all of your expertise as far as if they are legal and so forth...
