Internet payday loan companies are mostly unlicensed to operate in most states, which makes them an illegal company. Don't worry about internet payday loans. Come to my site for more on this issue.

What you need to do is find out if these companies are licensed to do business in Texas and if they are internet, chances are they are not. Then figure out how much you have actually paid them with fees, and if it's more than the principal, demand that your account be marked paid in full or you will complain to the state's attorney general's office.

Trust me, most of us have been there and heard that threat, and it is ILLEGAL! I'm sorry this happened to you, what company was this lady claiming to represent? Or what collection agency did she say she worked for. It is also very illegal to claim you are an attorney when you are not one. You need to file a complaint against this company with Florida's Attorney General's office, was this company by chance Bass and Associates?

If more consumers would contact their Attorney Generals regarding this out-of-control issue, there may be more state laws, or even Federal laws enacted to go after these crooks.
