I emailed my web funds because I have overpaid the principle I borrowed by over 500. I emailed requesting a refund of the overpayment, and this is what I received from them:

We have reviewed your account and the email as well, we totally understand the email you are sending as well as we understand the reason why you are sending it. When the money was given to you there was no license number asked on your part to receive the money ALSO let me just clarify that My Web Funds is not a payday lender we are an INSTALLMENT company that withdraws the money every time you get paid; therefore the rules apply different.

When you signed the contract there were terms and conditions that you signed and also stating being well aware of what the contract was about, the interest daily as well as the leght of such loan. We are trying to work together to come to an agreement and close the loans. I am no lawyer and I am assuming neither are you, that´s why we want to close it just for half of the principal you received. WE WILL CLOSE YOUR LOAN FOR A PAYMENT OF 300.00 USD.

Any questions or concerns feel free to call us.

Best Regards,

How should I proceed? I don't feel I should have to pay another dime...

ok thanks for the help-what should I tell them? I used a template from here for my first email-I'm not great at saying what I need to say!

Thanks I sent this:
Thank you for your response. However, as I stated in my previous emails I received a total amount of deposits in the amount of 1800.00$ for 5 loans (loan, amounts, dates, and debits are below) and withdrawals from my account in a total amount of 2365.93$. This results in an over-payment of $565.93. So I have already paid the principle balances of my loans, and then sum. I did talk to my lawyer, and was advised regardless of whether My Web Funds is a payday lender or not the company is no licensed in the state of Tx, nor is it legal.

I am still requesting a refund of 565.93.

Hopefully I will get my refund-but i doubt it :(

Letter looks great! I am keeping fingers crossed for a refund, not sure if you will get one though. Let us know how things work out!

After I resent the email saying that I would not pay any more then I owe and demanding a refund, I have yet to receive another response(after they said they'd settle for half of the principle)

They are now beginning to call me, first call today, did not name the company, or anything, laughing in the background of the voicemail as well.

How should I proceed to get them to NOT call me and get them to send me a PIF email? Because it's clear I'm not getting my refund

It is almost impossible for them to stop calling you. When you see their number, do not answer the phone. As far as the PIF goes, it does not sound as if you will get it but keep pushing for refund via email.
