I live in PA and have a pdl with White Hills Cash. I owe them $355 principal balance. I sent them an email using the template. They are willing to accept the principal balance but want it in one lump sum payment. They are saying that they are not bound by PA or any state laws. They told me to do my research on sovereign enterprises. They said they will not accept the payment plan I made and that if I do not pay the lump sum they are going to report me to check data systems. They said I was willing to accept the money in one lump sum it is only fair to pay back in one lump sum. How is the best way to reply??

tribal lenders, the tribes, and anybody connected with them are scum.the FTC,and a slew of AG'S are going after them now so stay resolute.they are illegal, and know it.also when they call, and you realize it's them.hang up without a word as they don't deserve the courtesy as again they are true scum.do that and they will tire of the dial tone.as for any messages delete with a laugh.

I don't want to use the words that you should use but I will tell you that they are full of it. You don't have abide by their rules because you are not in tribal land or part of their tribe. I just had the same kind of email today from plain green loans, they wanted a lump sum for the remaining principal. I told them I couldn't and would send it in 2 payments. A few hours later they responded with a thank you and we look forward to receiving the payments. Just be strong, its a threat. Tell them what you can do and if they report you the check systems which they can't because you didn't write them a bad check, you will not pay them anything at all.

never heard of check data systems.heard of a couple others, but it sounds like a name they just threw out there.besides all of those check services need to have evidence of a check.an ACH is not a check.take everything they say/threaten as just that a threat and an empty one.

I just responded reiterating what I was willing to repay the principal amount owed in installments; however if they choose to report me to the check data systems, then I will no longer be willing to make payments. I also stated that even though they are not bound by state law, I M not bound by tribal law as I am not a non Indian on their reservation. We will see what happens next. What a stupid decision to take out this type of loan. I want to repay what I borrowed but not the crazy extra fees and I want the harassment to stop. Even though they are emailing me. They are still calling me too.

Paul - can they actually report me to the check data systems. I definitely do not want my bank to do a sweep and have my account closed because of something on that report, nor do i want to have any issues with telecheck, Scan, etc. I am still in negotiations with WHC - they are now willing to accept installments but want me to send every two weeks instead of monthly. I am still contemplating that.....
