Help- legal threats

I am getting phone calls from 678- 666-4586 when I answer a recorded messages play that I owe on a payday loan for a returned check associated with my name and SS # and the client they represent is considering filing in court for breach of contract. When I call back I am placed on hold and get the "Litigation department".
I told the man that answered that I would not accept any more phone calls and that if I owed money they needed to send proof in the mail. I did not get into any discussion about what the debt was and refused to give him any of my information. I was just was very matter of fact. He said, "OK" and I hung up.
They call at least twice per day.
YIKES. Help. Is court a real possibility?

i would change the title of your thread to"illegal threats"because that is what they are.use any number you have to report them.first to your local police.then your AG.after that use caller id to id them and stop talking to them.they can't do a thing they threaten.don't care about the name because their threats smack of complete bottomfeeder that needs to be reported then ignored.
