Oi vey... if this were a normal lender, the answer would be "YES... SEND THE ACH REVOCATION LETTER NOW". Since they're illegal, you do run the risk of them debiting in multiple amounts to circumvent a dollar level stop payment. What I would do would be to send the revocation letter to both "Zip 19" and your bank by Certified Mail (with return receipt requested) NOW. Call your bank and let them know you're sending this letter and provide the parcel's tracking number. The EFTA requires three days notice, so it would be best to do it quickly!

Put a hard debit block on the account so that the transactions can not take place.

Zip 19 is out of the country there is no way a letter would get there by Friday. Any suggestions? Putting a hard debit block on my account "freezes" it right?

Although ZIP19 are famous for being ruthless they still didn't debit my account after I revoked their ACH authorization. But it has to be done 3 business days before your due date. This means you gotta send the e-mail today. You can also try to fax them.
I did all this and they stopped debiting my account.
So e-mail and fax them asap

Thanks for the info. I will do that. I worry becasue my account is not closed yet. Should I still put a stop payment on the transaction?
a stop payment will not help, they will go under a different nam
a stop payment will not help, they will go under a different name.. go to your bank (in person, ask to speak to the manager) asap and tell them what is going on. explain this company is not legal and you wish to close the account out completly (without allowing ACH to push it back open). if you cannot close it asap, make it deposit only asap and close it the second you can. blocking this company will not work, they will just go in under a different name.

IMO, you have no other option but to close that account. It will never be safe again, it might be a year from now when you think it is all settled them BOOM they will come crawling out of the woodwork again and debit your account making claims you still owe them money, or, they might give your account information to a sister company who makes the same claims. Keep in mind that you are dealing with criminals here, and I am sure you wouldn't want a thief to have access to your account information.

I do plan on closing it..but I have to wait for some things to clear. It will probaly be next week. Do you think if I put a stop pay on the transaction that would "buy me some time" until I can close the accountl? Also should I go ahead and send the ACH letter or should I wait until the account is closed?

can your bank put a hard block on it until it clears? i know with some banks they will allow you to chose who you will pay (not all banks will do this, though).

I sent my ACH revocation letter to zip19 yesterday. Today I went in to try to access my account and it says I don't have access to that site. I'm guessing they locked me out of it. My bank account is still open. I haven't put a stop on the transaction yet....should go ahead a place a stop payment...what are the chances they will debit the account anyway? What will happen with them from here? Anyone dealt with them before?

i think the chances are very high that they will attempt to debit even with a stop payment. I would really consider a hard block.
