This will be one of many "threatening" form emails tht you will receive from the PDL's....Teletrack is not a credit bureau, but a database that will prevent you from taking out another PDL or getting furniture at a RentaCenter....big deal.

Just be prepared to stand your ground, and pay them the balance when you can.
The PDL's will draft up many "official" looking and sounding emails to scare you....we have all gotten them.
We are here for you...just come back anytime you want to run anything by, or just vent. Its gonna be a tough process fighting with some of these PDLs' but you have our support.

VBmom, thank you! Should I reply to that email with my letter? And when I do have the money to pay them, how do I do that? Even though I know they can't do anything to me it is still nervewracking to get these calls and emails. I am so happy that I found this forum! It is so good to know that I am not the only one going through this and that many people have gone through it and made ite through okay!
Should I reply to that email with my letter? Yes..great idea.

Now I have a really nice offer from MTE too. NOT! They are offering to settle with me for $250 and waive all the finance and collection fees. The thing is I took out a loan for $400 and have to date paid them $945. Once they have this $250 they are then willing to mark my account PIF. Obviously, I am not going to send this.
[/quote]Based on the information supplied in your complaint, it is evident that the information derived from some sort of form or template, as it does not apply to your particular loan. It is strongly advised that consumers do not fall prey to the contributors of this type of information, as it is not always true, nor does it apply to every circumstance. Often, the information actually incriminates the consumer for not abiding by the laws of the state that they live in. Additionally, any contradiction to a consumer????????s signed loan agreement can actually put them in default. While it is appealing to a consumer to find what appears to be an "easy way out" of their debt, there is no such thing if the debt is substantiated by a legal, signed contract. Using information containing legal jargon that you have not actually researched in an attempt to threaten a company into writing off a balance that you know you owe can actually be harmful to you as a consumer.
The money was lent to you by our company in good faith with the understanding that you would abide by the terms detailed in your loan contract, just as we upheld our end of the agreement by crediting the funds to your account in a timely manner. The Loan Note and Disclosure that you e-signed and thereby agreed to is very detailed and clear so as not to cause any confusion to you, the borrower, and meets all the Truth-In-Lending and Reg Z requirements as prescribed by Federal statute.
Upon review of your account history, you clearly knew all terms and conditions of your most recent loan, as you have been approved for loans many times in the past and have applied on many occasions for additional lending. We have all legal contracts that you e-signed, thereby agreeing to the terms and conditions of the loan(s). Having had loans in the past for which the terms were exactly the same, claiming not to have understood the terms of this loan can easily be disputed, as you were not coerced in any way by our company to reapply and did so on your own. It is highly unlikely that a customer would return to a company for additional lending if they had been unsatisfied with the service the first time.
Due to the fact that you have revoked authorization on our debits, no further debits will be made from your account from this date forward.
Due to the fact that you are clearly in a situation that led you to use any information that you could obtain in an attempt to relinquish your debt with our company, and in the interest of good customer service, we have agreed to waive all finance charges currently due on your loan and settle for complete payment of the principal balance owed. It is our hope that this will ease some of your financial burden, as well as avoid further collection efforts that would inevitably ensue should you default on your loan agreement.
Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah...what I am confused with is this....

Yes, that is what they are saying. As far as I am concerned I way overpaid them already. I am guessing from their letter that they are now used to getting these from people? And trying to make it seem as though the information I have is incorrect, to get me to pay?

Well Mom, I would say then....stand firm and keep giving them the same pdl letter as many times as you have to. Tell them the terms are unacceptable and keep telling them that until you get what you want.

Funny story! SO you know how up above in this thread I had been asking if anyone has hear of Apollo Group? They started calling within a week of me doing all of this, so I figured they were some pdl company going by a different name and never answered the phone. THey had never left a message either which I thought was kind of strange as none of the other pdl companies have been shy about that. Well, today they left a message finally. It turns out they are University of Phoenix, a college! My daughter is college age this year so it would make sense. I just thought it was funny and sad that I immediately assumed the worst! That's all just a story to share!

Mom, do not feel bad. I will not answer the call anymore if I do not recognize the phone number. I did something similar with my mail...I received a letter from some financial group that I had never had any dealings with so I left it on the dresser, I was cleaning and decided to open it up...I received a refund for insurance overpayment due to some lawsuit. I called my insurance co and it was legit...I almost threw away a 700.00 check

I really think that living through this really does make you more paranoid...or aware or whatever. It also makes me dread when my cell rings or when the mail comes. And I am sure we are not the only ones who feel this way.
Oh..the only bad part of the check is that I had to use it to pay uncle sam...oh well atleast my payment did not have to come out of my pocket. :D

You don't. I had previous paid loans with ameriloan and when the BBB got involved, I refused once, took the offer when they countered (it was for what I had borrowed) paid them, end of story. I never mentioned anything previous to what we were currently dealing with. Better left untouched, in my opinion.

paul...I think they probably mentioned the fact that it was a repeat endeavor and how the conditions were understood previously, and complied with. I am almost positive that is what my response to the BBB said. But..like I said, I never dignified the fact by responding to it.

Has anyone ever dealt with E-Payday-Loan? I have sent them letters and emails which they have been ignoring. Every few days they send me an email stating they are having problems with my bank account and then another one stating if I don't contact them they will report me to Teletrack. I am not worried about that at all. Everytime they send me an email I have been replying with all of my previous emails, asking them to please respond in writing. Well this was my reply today:

I just received another phone call from your company, > from Angie @ 10:20a.m. this morning. I have been > trying unsuccessfully to communicate with your company > in writing. You have specifically stated in the > email at the bottom to either call or email you at > this address. Guess what? That got a response!!!! This is what they replied:

I thought it was actually pretty funny! Very business like on their part! I do owe the $210. I guess I will just slowing start sending them money orders to the address I have? The other interesting thing about them is when I made my BBB complaint I did so for their address in the state of Utah. The BBB replied to me saying they are actually Global Payday Loan LLC in Pennsylvania. If anyone else has dealt with them, especially if you owed them money, I would like to know how it was resolved, please.
Thanks!

Good Afternoon!! been awhile since I have been online.. but I got a strange Voicemail at work today from "Linda Princheds (sp?) office" with a phone number 1-888-265-5074 regarding a "payday loan" I recieved in --2004?????.
I of course google it and this thread comes up ... tempted to call this idiot and see what the ^T%$%^&* is she calling ME about... but then from experience I know NOT to call them, because they harrass me forever again...
SO to pinpoint precisely who these idiots are, are we talking Loan Shop from Delware, or Loan Shop from NV or are they the dorks that hired Jackson Phillips out of Jacksonville to harass people about Loan Shop/ Westbury Ventures/BMG/Express Cash/PD 6 Ventures and the list goes on................
been so long since I have to deal with this I am confused who to write to next............
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Hump Day!!!!!!

I have tried myself to find an address, but no luck. I will tell you they are based out of Malta from what they told me when I inquired. So this makes them higly ILLEGAL! They refused to give me a physical address when I emailed through their website. They kept refusing so I told them I considered this matter closed. I never heard from them again. All I was able to do is log in online, but they never gave me any phone number, mail address, or direct email to contact them. Best of Luck :?
