So it has been 2 months since I made payments on my loans (One Click Cash, QXL Online, Action Payday and Castle Payday). I send the letters revoking ACH and changed my accounts. I had an isue with QXL taking out more money since my bank account wasn't closed, but my bank took care of that. I received one e-mail from both One Click Cash and Castle Payday and since then, nothing. I'm not complaining, but I'm just wondering if I should e-mail them again or let it go and wait for them to contact me.

I did contact the MD Commissioner and they have all my information, but I haven't heard back from them.

Any advice??

Good point, but is this typical? Like I said I shouldn't complain, but it seems weird. They haven't marked my accounts PIF, so they can pop back up whenever they want, but for now I'm good.

It's typical. Very typical actually. Many companies, once they realize you know the law and aren't budging, will stop wasting their time and just sell your accounts to random junk debt buyers.

So basically it's a waiting game, huh? So are these junk debt buyers collection agencies?

Bingonut...thanks, I realize this, just curious how long and how they will help.

Each situation is different. It depends on the lenders and how many Marylanders are involved for each one. I do know since I contacted the Commission, they calls have stopped and I also know that they are still proceeding on some lenders. I believe when they have something to report, they will let you know. I really do not know a specific timeframe.

Still haven't heard anything from the Commission and up until Tuesday I hadn't heard from my lenders. I received a text Tuesday from Action Payday that said I may be eligible to settle my loan with up to 50% off the balance.

Commission will eventually advise you. As far as Action Payday, you know the rule if you still owe on original amount borrowed, then just let them know that is all they are going to get...otherwise nothing...hang in there!

I actually overpaid them $35 on this loan. I had loans with them previously that were paid off in full (not just principal). They will not get another penny from me!!
