Hi I had just taken out 4 pay day loans. Magnum Cash Advance, United Credit Line, Zip19, and Plain Green Loans. Are all of these paydays loans? I ask because I just found out that pay day loans are illegal in NJ where I live. I want to call them and tell them I'm only sending them the principal(I just closed my bank account) and I also want to send them letters stating this. I just want to make sure I know what I'm talking about before I talk to them. They all are expected to take out their money this Friday out of my account but I closed it and I will pay on the principal little by little. So how much will these people harass you, I'm not worried about them calling my cell phone, just my work line. I am really nervous that they will be calling my work nonstop and that freaks me out. Does anything work that will make them not call my work? Thanks so much for the support.!

Yep???since the pay day lenders are illegal in your state, so you are required to pay them only the principal amount. If you have any complaints against those lenders, then you can contact with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - 20 West State St. Trenton NJ 08625
# Phone - (609) 292-5360
# Fax - (609) 292-5461

Being a resident of NJ I can tell you that the Banking and Insurance Commission is going to take the complaint and forward to the Federal Trade Commission! I would still file my complaint but I would do an Attorney General one and a BBB one and a FTC one. I would file numerous complaints non stop. I would file complaints where the PDL's are located aswell because whatever state they may be using they can be operating illegally out of that state. I have since been labeled by my husband as the complaint filer but I get results. This site has taught me that I don't have to sit around and just take what is given to me I have learned to fight for my rights and what I believe in. File those complaints secure your bank account and send them the revocation letters you can offer to pay them the principle and that only and ask for a physical address to send payments if they offer no address then they won't get paid. They may try to scare you into paying its a crock of sh** tell them to come and get you if they feel that strongly about make sure in all your complaints you see all other offices so they will see.
