2 years ago I emailed peppercash.com about the validity of their loan in my state of AZ and informed them I didn't owe any more since my payments had amounted to more than the original loan amount. Fast forward and today I received a phone call from someone saying they were informing me that they were serving me on 1/27/14 and they gave me a phone number and case number. The phone number is to a "law office" of Meckler, Reisenbough and Associates in NY - go figure I google the name and nothing comes up. I'm just freaking out now and wondering will they really come to my home or work and serve me with an affidavit of debt? Any help is appreciated!!

They are scammers mate. Don’t rely on their words. They are just trying to scare you. File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

It's a scam...ignore. I had one call me a while back and I told him I was going to report him to the FBI and I have never heard from him again. First off, no one is going to call you and tell you that you are going to be served on a certain date. Good Luck
