what is the most that a settlement company should charge as their fee? 25% of amount saved, is this too high?

Also, even if using a settlement company do you suggest using an ACH revocation letter?

See, the fee varies from company to company. I would suggest you to not work with a settlement company only. Why should you waste your money when you can settle your debts yourself?

Thank you! After reading all the help on this forum I will be dealing it wih myself. I had been dealing with a PDL debt negotiator, however their fees were crazy & still have yet to settle 2 of the PDL. I will be dealing with them myself.

I completely agree with my previous poster. Don’t hire a debt relief company, they will charge a heavy fee. Try to settle your debts on your own. It will save your money and minimizes your unnecessary expenses. View this page to know the steps of settling debts yourself:
