SFG Marketing has their own website and they accept applications over the internet unlike other 'Marketing' companies who use financial matching sites to find applicants and don't have their own websites.

The reason I'm asking if anyone has used them is because I applied and was approved for a loan through them. Despite their high fees, I will be able to payback the loan with one payment so I won't be getting trapped in overpaying. I just thought it was a little odd that they offer to send a bank wire or overnight a USPS money order to fund your loan. I decided to have a money order mailed to me because my bank rejected the wire because they only accept ACH deposits/withdrawals from now on. They claim it is more convenient and less of a hassle for them. SFG stated they don't use ACH, only bank wires.

I'm just looking to see if anyone has had any dealings with this company.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks for the response. They aren't Shadforth Financial Group. They are located in the US and their website address is:

www.sfgmarketinggroup.com

I'm sure they aren't licensed. Here are their contact numbers:

877-213-3377 & 716-650-2609

They call you from the 716 number. The 716 area code is located in Williamsville, NY. The 877 number is listed to ehscareers.com but it appears they changed numbers and this company is now using the number. They answer the phone with hello, they don't identify themselves, a little strange.

I can't find anything on the web about them except on their website. Like I said, I'm sure they are lending illegally but I need the money and will be able to pay them back right away so I really didn't think twice about it. I was just curious if anyone has heard of them. Check out the website and let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance.

NY. I know PDL's aren't legal in the state but I need the small loan and have no other way of obtaining one in the quick time I need it. I was just wondering if anyone had heard of this company. Seems like they were thrown together and just appeared over night.

Plus I never heard of a PDL only doing bank wires and/or money orders. I thought they all just utilized the ACH process or am I wrong in thinking that?

I dealt with them I had no problem cashing the money order but it was from the us postal service.and now there threating me to pay the full balance of 400 for 200 ridiculous.they keep contacting me n my family and also they said there lawyers are gonna get me for fraud.but what fraud I sent them my id as they asked all my real information.they sed that because when they went to take the first payment from my bank of 87.50 it was denied and that's fraud.I called explained to them there is a freeze on my account for fraudulent activity n that I would send them a money order then they gave me a site that's sentinelfcg.com and it explains nothing just to make a payment with a cresit card.they also sed that they were meeting with there lawyers at 2 and would explain I couldn't pay until sept 3.all of a sudden after that they still called my family.I sent emails no response all of a sudden.I think its fraud n I am not paying a penny.be careful.I wish I would have been.I am a single 24 yr old female parent n of course they scared me with fraud charges for electronic checks.n they won't let me send them a money order n why the full 400 what happened to the payment plan.

I received a loan from them also and paid it back on time... as per the agreement, all of theses loan companies are going to charge a high interest and filing fee. So you received the money, you state that you had no problem cashing it but now you say you not going to give them back a dime because you think it's fraud????? You admitted you did receive and cash the money order, wheres the fraud??? your the reason these interest rates are so high. People who take the money and run.. They were there for me and yes I paid way more then I borrowed, but i dont have the credit to get a bank loan... I know I signed a contact you must have also so you agreed to the terms and now its FRAUD??? its only fraud if they are trying to take your money that you never received. They helped you and now YOU are the one who is not paying.... GROW UP and pay your bills...

I would guess "Unregistered" above is from Sentinel/SFG. That assumption is based on the email I received from them, basically saying the exact same thing "GROW UP and pay your bills..."

I tried faxing them an ACH revocation, which they said they would not honor. They left nasty messages (which I saved) on my cell phone and work phone, said they were going after my mom since she was a co-applicant (when she was actually just a reference), that I was being reported to Chec Systems (I have heard of ChexSystems but not this one...perhaps a new unknown reporting agency??), they stated that I am uneducated, that they do not correspond via email but made an exception in my case (lucky for me they made an exception just so they could send me a nasty email). Then they proceeded to send me more emails, asking why I sent the ACH revocation, etc (about 10 in total), then said they couldn't correspond via email anymore and we needed to talk on the phone. I said "no thanks", printed off all the emails, recorded copies of the voicemails, printed off the 3 fax confirmations for the ACH revocation that they claim they received too late and forwarded it all to the Attorney General, the Commerce Dept and filed complaints with the FTC and BBB.

Not the smartest people I have dealt with!

I got a loan from them and so did my sister. I paid mine just as I agreed, but my sister bounced her first check. Now my sister is with their attorneys. They froze her checking account, and sued her for fraud and theft. They won because they had everything in writing, and after my sister got her money, it wasnt paid back " per written contractual obligations" is what the court paperwork says. I paid mine and had no problems, but my sister is paying all kinds of legal fees to their attorneys.
