So I rec'd my 1st threating phone call today about someone coming to my home or place of work. They must have called my mother as soon as I didn't answer because she called me all upset. I told her to ignore it and next time he calls to tell him that she is going to report the call to the police. I'm not sure which payday company this is, I have sent letters to all of them and after a month of not hearing anything 'this is my one opportunity' to contact the firm handling this. Please.... I thank this forum I would be freaking out if it wasn't for the information I a have found on here. My only question is, should I call back to at least find out which loan it is in reference too so I can file a complaint.

to the poster above me.it really doesn't matter if they owe any pdl.whoever is calling is breaking the law hand over fist.it is no benefit to call these humanoids back as all the OP will get are threats.for one OP your mother should report whoever called to her local police.then ignore future calls.you should use any info like a phone number to file AG,and FTC complaints against these places.again they are breaking the law with their calls and should be reported, and ignored.

Screamer..................I know what you mean. When I was deep into PDL's, and they would constantly call me, I REALLY thought they could put people in jail, etc. Until I did (and posted) alot of research on this forum. One thing I didn't know is that PDL's are illegal in the state of PA. That statement, to many of the PDL's I dealt with, was leverage for me. :)
