Should I keep pressing for a refund or call it a day?

Hello,

About 3 weeks ago, I sent a revocation letter to CashWebUSA. I took out a payday loan in early June for $300 and overpaid by $150. I took all the necessary steps listed in the stickies with the exception of closing my bank account. My bank basically told me that if CashWebUSA tries to take anything out, they will refund me and actually call the company and block future ACH withdrawels.

While CashWebUSA hasn't acknowledged that my account is paid in full, it appears that they are just trying to avoid me and get rid of me. My account status on their website still says returned item (they changed to that status after my first email using the template from the stickied thread here). They later sent me a bs email saying that I agreed to Costa Rica laws and that I still owe $300. I sent them an email back again reiterating that they are not licensed in Wisconsin and that if they don't mark my account paid in full and issue a refund of $150, I will file a complaint with the FTC. They have not responded to me since then which was a little over 2 weeks ago. I even sent another email last week demanding an update on my account status and refund, but again they haven't responded.

At this point, would you recommend that I keep pressing or just let it go? Any other advice on next steps?

Thanks!

Thanks! I mostly want to bug them to mark my account paid in full at this point. I'm still a little wary that they'll try to randomly make a withdrawel. Even though my bank said they'd back me up if this happens, I just don't really want to deal with that.

You really think I'm good to just stop communication at this point?
