NONE OF THE INFO YOU EMAILED BELOW APPLIES TO US DUE TO THAT FACT THAT YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH NEVIS WEST INDIES. YOU SOUGHT US OUT ONLINE FOR A LOAN WE DID NOT SOLICIT YOU IN YOUR STATE.
Is it true that because they are in the West Indies the law prohibiting payday loans in NYS doesn't apply? I don't know what to respond to this.
I went ahead and canceled the ACH and debit authorization for all three companies with my bank and I also am closing the account (my bank urged me to do this and opened a new account for me) but the old account has to stay open until some checks that I wrote have cleared.
Does anyone have any advice on this?

do not let them scare you, payday loans are illegal where you live, period. the fact that they even admit to being located out of this country is laughable! :lol: they cannot do anything to you. i would simply resend the letters until they listen to you. you can pay what you morally owe on your own terms.

I have asked them twice for their physical address so I can send them the $200. They keep telling me I have to give them my credit card # or my new bank information. They are not getting either one.
I'm mostly concerned that they will start calling my work. That would be embarassing. I did tell them in the letter that they could only communicate with me by email.
What about Paychecktoday? The fact that they didn't respond at all really makes me nervous.
