Is this site ever getting back to normal ?

Really appreciate all the information on this board, and jason has been trying to help, but getting very discouraged about not being able to post. Have tried a number of times over the past few days.

Anything I post to a thread that I didnt start does not show up

i was facing lots of problems 2 weeks back. However, now it seems that things are getting slightly better. For instance: I can make forum posts without any problem.

Have you let Jason know? I know with spam, we used to be able to see it under the postings since your last visit feature and it was easy to get rid of, but now it's much harder. We have to go into each thread.

Arent you seeing so many posts that have spam postings in them ?? They are seemingly everywhere.

Yes the spam is out of control, I have resorted to writing down the names of the threads that I am helping people on so that I can find them, because they are also having trouble getting registered.. It is better than a few weeks ago, I agree with ditchdebt...and seems to be getting better everyday - I know from talking to Jason via email that they are working on it... I figure we can still help people and get an answer to a question if we need and that is what is really important...

I have been trying to post on the forums now for 2 days. And in every case none of the posting have ever appeared. I have tried posting a question, it never appeared, but other posts have come up after it. I get numerous 404 errors when i attempt to post or a message saying that my post is awaiting approval incase it is spam. But I also see numerous spam posting since my attempts. Not sure what else I should try, I have sent a few PMs to who I believe are moderators but have not heard back. Any help would be appreciated.

In order to make our spam filter strong we are working on restricting spam words. So in cases where some posts which has words that match with those spam texts may show that message. However we will relax the text restrictions once we are able to control the spams.

We will also work on the last post section as well.
