pdl and collections

My latest situation is with Magnum Cash, which I have found to be illegal in the state of Florida. I currently owe them $90 on the principle and probably $1000 in interest, fees and bs.
This account has been turned over to a collection agency, National Service Bureau. I requested validation and a record of the transactions, which they have provided. It took them 3 weeks and I about gave up on them, but they finally sent them in an email.
Now my question: I've tweaked your sample illegal pdl letter and am prepared to pay the $90 to settle the principle. Do I send this letter to Magnum, the collection agency or both? My gut tells me to send the letter to Magnum and a cease and decist letter to NSB, but I'm trying to save myself headaches. I don't trust NSB and would rather not deal with them if at all possible.
Next question, is it acceptable to email these letters or should I be sending out hard copies?
Thanks

Yes, you only need to pay $90. Just forget about the interests and fees. Send the letter to both the lender and NSB. Since, the account is with NSB right now, you'll have to send a letter to them. You will have to deal with them unfortunately. You may send an email to them.
Email/Mail
I dealt with Magnum and their collection agency also. The only advice I want to give you, if you send correspondences via email, make sure you mark it so you get notification when they actually open/read it. I send several emails to the collection agency for Magnum and was told they never received them. I knew they were not telling the truth because I had marked it to be notified when opened. The collection agency that Magnum uses is very dishonest and rude. Just make sure you protect yourself with proof of everything you send them.
