Hello Everyone, Kinda Need some help here... Okay well My husband Took out a Payday Loan Last year.. Called E- Payday Loans. Okay well He never payed them Back and Now they have a Attorny Contacting us Called Falzone Associates... I have spoke with Someone there, and they said that they are willing too do a one time settlement of 489.00 Which Right we don't Have.. Or They will start the Procedure too take him too small claims court and he then will get it for a bad check... Now my Questions is... Can these ppl Do that over a Payday Loan... We live in Pennsylvania... So if u anyone can help or has any advise please let me know.. Thank you Kindly...

Debt is a civil matter not a criminal one.
Threating statements like that are against the law.
If I were you I would send them a debt validation letter. Make them validate the debt. For all you know they bought up some old junk debt and are now trying to collect on it.
