I recieved a similar call. This man claimed to he from the New York police dept and they were charges pending.against me for bank.fraud ,fcc ..US banking violations charges. etc. tuey told me if i did not pay by 10:30am they would contact law officials here in tx to come to my job arrest me...etc. tyen they told me that my social.security number would be taken my employer contacted and then i would be fired if I did not send them another 200.00 via green pak. I am trying to verify these ppl.with the NYPD among others. Can I sue them? They have me thinking that if I dont comply they will ruin my entire life.


I had a guy call me 8x in one day last week. He claimed sheriff would be at my door, I would be arrested, yada yada yada. He had a think accent and put on his office attorney (surprise, India).

Finally,on last call, my husband took the phone and blew a loud whistle into receiver.

Guy hasn't called back. Probably still recovering. lol

That is exactly what these con artists bank on. Never ever fall for such crap. Debts are civil, not criminal so you cannot be charged for any of those things, let alone arrested.

Yes, you can sue these people. Most definitely. Contact a NACA attorney. You would need to find out who these people are exactly and gather enough evidence before you proceed.
