I gave out my social security number to all of the PDL companies that I applied for with a loan along with my driver's license number. Do you know what they use it for? I wish I would have given them a fake number! 2 PDL's slapped a Collection on Debt on my credit report.

Your SSN# and driver's license is required on most applications nowadays. Some companies have an legal obligation to protect and secure your personal information. However, there is a blackmarket and things go on behind closed doors :?

If you plugged your SSN in online to these goons, I suggest you keep an close eye on your credit reports and bank accounts, itis not telling what they did with this information if they are a Illegal business

all of the payday loan companies were illegal in my state of IN. I guess giving them the correct number was my obligation at the time but I am angry that they were able to slap a collection on debt on my credit report when they are illegally practcing in my state. I paid all of the principal on the debt for both loans but they want another $400 each for interest and that is what I refused to give them.
