payday help

Hi I'm in Texas and I have 6 paydays that went into default as of 11-23-11. I had been paying on the loans for 6 months and one of the lenders sold my information overseas and I got scammed in october. So I filed complaints with the FTC and FBI internet crime department and had to change my number and close my bank account. After I close my account, I signed up with the debt settlement company Payday Loan Debt Assistance in Miami, Florida. They are helping so far, but I am still getting collections calls from two of the lenders. Also, I am worried because one lender(PLS Loan Store) is a storefront and I wrote an actual postdated check even though I told them that I was working with the debt settlement company to pay all my lenders. What can I do at this point? HELP!

I don't suggest sending a C&D. The lenders aren't obligated to work with your consolidation company. I suggest reminding them they should contact the consolidation company directly. If they refuse, you'll have to work with them yourself.
