I have a loan with sonic payday and they are calling me saying that they will garnish my wages if I don't come up with the money soon. I have paid down some, but don't have the whole amount. I live in NC and under their laws they cannot garnish any wages. Is that correct?

while NC is non-garnishment sonic will try to send a wage assignment through.draft a wage assignment revocation letter and give it to your employer.there are templates in the DYI tab on the top of the site.btw since they are illegal in all states you only owe the principle, and any fees debited get deducted from that.just know you might not owe near what they claim you owe.
