what to do when these people call you on you job can you they are so rude threaten to file charges for the balance of less than 200.00
Hang Up!
I know it's really annoying and frustrating when they call. Don't talk to them, just hang up. No words at all! They will eventually give up. Inform your coworkers that may answer the phone to hang up as well without a word. It works! You don't need to talk to illegal lenders, they can't take you to court or anything else when they call with these empty threats.

How do you know it is an illegal lender or even a PDL for that matter??
And an illegal loan CAN take you to court...the defense would be that the loan is INVALID as PDL's is not licensed or the state prohibits PDL's.
Please, if you don not know or understand the laws, DO NOT ANSWER posts. We have several unregistered members and even registered members like Ditchadebt who continue to hand out bad information.
To the original poster....who did you borrow from?? What state do you live in? If it is only $200 you owe, why not pay it??? We need more info!!!
