We have a son with a serious health condition and subsequently I have used payday loans to cover some bills. It has gotten out of jand on my end and I m not in jeopardy of losing everything we have because I cannot keep up with the payments, and maintain paying our bills.
I am looking for help/advice as how to proceed. Some of these PDL's I have paid hundreds of dollars more than the amounts borrowed. We live in South Carolina and I was hoping someone could tell me if I am protected by any state laws or if it is possible to somehow consolidate these loans until they are paid off.
Needless to say my credit is severly damaged so I can procure a loan from my bank. Please help me if possible. I thank you in advance for any sugesstions or info.
Regards.... Rich

PDL help
SoapLady...thanks for your reply. I hate to be so naive but according to SC law is it illegal for these companies to rollover my loans. I ask because all of them do this, it is being called a refinance but is that the same thing ?? Would it be helpful to you and any others willing to help if I list the loan companies and the amounts ?
Thank you so much for your help. I have been praying so hard for guidance. Thank you...
Rich

I too am from South Carolina and may be of some help to you. I have learned a lot in a short amount of time. My first question is are these Store front loans or Internet? Please let us know the names, amount borrowed, and amount paid for each loan.

That makes a big difference.. Most internet loans are not licensed in South Carolina, therefore illegal so list them and we will check for you.
