Thanks, I got that and faxed them stating that I needed something showing that I was PIF. I didn't get a response. I'm just surprised they sent me a check with nothing attached. They sent it from a Wilmington, DE address and the check was from SunTrust. I called SunTrust and they said the check should be good. I just don't want two years down the road some foreigner calling me threatening me that I defaulted on my loan with SPD, I would feel more comfortable having some confirmation in writing.
Send them a demand for proof of your account being paid in full.
Send them a demand for proof of your account being paid in full.......enclose the proof of all payments you made (be sure to black out any account numbers other then your account number with them) and send it certified/return receipt via the US Post Office.
Emails aren't admissable in most courts and neither if faxing.
