I am almost out of payday hell! Other than my 2 storefront loans (that I am making affordable payments and will be done by Feb. 1) Spotya is the last internet one that I have to deal with. I live in Ohio and know they are not a licensed lender in my State. However, the right thing to do is pay back only the principal balance. After talking and verifying information with the collector, he agreed to accept only the principal balance (yes, I got that in writing). I told him that I would only send a money order so, he gave me the mailing address. Well, the envelope that I sent the money order in to the collector at Spotya was returned yesterday to me. The money order was still inside. The postal service had put a sticker on it saying “undeliverable, address not found.” I rechecked the email that Collector has sent me sent me with the address and sure enough it matched the one I had on the envelope. I emailed the collector and again he gave me the same address. If the idiot collector cannot give me a good address, then I how can I send my money order?

Yes, I did contact the collector and he gave me the same address. I told him that I received back and he said "resend it" I am not going to resend it because it will just come back again. I went to the Post Office and they verified it was not a good address. I feel like blowing them off and cashing the money order.

Can't say I blame you. I would keep the envelope which says undeliverable, also the email the collector gave you with the address.

You can always go to www.usps.com, input the address and when it says not a good address print that page out by pressing Control P on your keyboard, scan and email it to him. I wouldn't send it to the same address as what he gave you before either. But if you do end up sending money through the mail use certified mail return receipt.
