I have 2 payday loans 1 with SSM Group LLC and the other with summitgroup. Both for 150.00.I live in Pa.Are they unlicensed/illegal ?Will needs less to say someone got a hold of my banking info.My money is gone.Had to close my acount and can't pay these now.

They are 150 each and so far I have just pay the rollover whick is 90 on each. They are working to find who got my bank info.I alao have a 500 with First Bank of Delaware.1 day I check my acount theres 200 in it that I know nothing about from ace.I called them and they took the money out only 2 times. So that was 400.Called them back and told them. They said they would check it out. They put the 200 back in.But after the 400 was take out the frist thime I had overdrafts from them. They never paid them. The bank took them off.Trun around and fine more money gone.Places I don't know. The bank is to close the checking. They told me alot of these place are unlicensed/illegal and will sell your info.I'm in the red now and trying to find out if these places are unlicensed/illegal.What I can do.Right now I don't need someone screaming at me and calling me.I'm sick over it all.

if loans are illegal in PA than they are all illegal.
on your statement, who did it say took your money? i am asking because I really do not think it was a payday loan, they typically do not overdraw until you default.
you have paid $90 on each one? (when did rollover fees get that high? all of mine were $30 per $100, these places are awful!!)
if they are illegal than you would just owe $60 more on each one.

I have heard of that before and others have posted about deposits showing up for loans they did'nt ask for. These illegal pdl's do share your info with each other. Its good that you've closed your bank account. I don't know if you would have any recourse against ace or not-I mean I know you should and they should be responsible for the mess they have caused you-but since they are illegal in the first place I don't know how or if you could hold them to any kind of accountablitiy. Have you filed complaints with the AG, DFI, FTC, BBB and any other place you can think of? That would be a start.

Also I *think* that Bank of Delaware operates as an installment loan and therefore would be legal for you as they are not actually a pdl. Thats a loophole that some of these places are starting to use.
