Got one refund, working on more
Date: Thu, 01/06/2011 - 09:25
Dear
Upon reviewing your request I see that we sent you $100, and we collected from you $151.70. There were several bounced checks. As you know there is a $25 fee for each bounced check. Those fees exceed the $51.70.
However, in light of the current economic times and the difficulties people are facing, we have offered some relief options including, for example, waiving fees for out of work clients and those under certain financial hardships.
We would be happy to include you and refund the $51.70.
Please be aware that all of our transactions are done electronically. We need only current information and we will promptly process that transaction.
Please complete the form below and return it by fax or email. If you are able to return it by mid-afternoon today we will endeavor to process the transaction this same day.
Star Advance is authorized to make only an electronic deposit in the amount of $51.70 into the following account:

I know 57 isn't a whole lot, but hey it's something. I still have 3 or 4 more that I am trying to get refunds on. They are one click cash, ameriloan, and united cash loans. I'm going to keep at them though. I haven't filled letters with the ag, ftc or bbb yet. What should I put in the letters to the three agencies?
Honestly, I would not risk giving these criminals my new account
Honestly, I would not risk giving these criminals my new account information for a measly 50 bucks, it really sounds like a ploy to obtain your account information so they can sell it to other lenders and steal more money from you.
That letter isn't admitting they were wrong to issue you a loan, and there should not be any mention of "bounced checks", I mean pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee, an ACH debit does NOT constitute a bounced check!
BE CAREFUL, I can almost guarantee you that this is a PLOY! Don't accept it, that is my advice!
Got the refund with no problem. Time to start working on my othe
