Okay. I was getting discouraged by some posts regarding the whole AG issue. However, I came home today and got another response from an AG. Not my AG. So, I'm thinking "Hey, something is going on here!" I received a letter from the state AG of Oklahoma. It is in regards to my complaint filed against MTE Financial. Ummm...never filed with the state AG in Oklahoma. Only with my state AG. Apparently, my state AG forwarded this on. I'm assuming because they thought it was important enough of an issue to forward it to Oklahoma. Yay! So, it's a complaint form and very detailed. So, I'm kind of excited about this. MTE must be getting the "shake down". I hope anyway. However, here is my question. Do I include (as I did in my complaint with my state AG) all the d/b/a's that MTE Financial uses along with the fact that they claim they are not them? I figure it doesn't hurt to add that. That's why I did it to begin with. Now, this complaint response from me to Oklahoma is going to be ugly. I want to include everything (which is STACKS of crap) so they know exactly what's going on and what kind of harrassment I'm getting. What do you guys think of the whole thing? Now, don't give me "downer" news. I'm taking this as a good thing, that my state took it upon themselves to forward it to their state. Right? No "downer" news, please! :D

I would think they forwarded it to Ok., so the AG there could be aware of it. I would include. everything that you know to be true about them, and documents to back it up. It isn't going to hurt, and it may help if they have some info on them and their practices! Good Luck-Keep us posted on what happens..KAren :D

Thanks, Karen! I have SO MUCH documentation, it's almost unreal. I guess I'll spend $40.00 mailing a huge packet to them! But, it is all factual information and documentation between myself and MTE and their d/b/a's. Unreal. But I want to stress to them the tactics these people use. So, I'm looking at this as a positive thing. Didn't someone say somewhere that MTE was not supposed to be lending any longer? I swear, I think I saw that on a post somewhere.... If that's the case, maybe that's why the Oklahoma AG is interested.

Thanks, morningstarr! You think this is a "good" thing? I'm going to include everything I have (God help the person who receives the complaint!). But do you think this is a positive thing?

Thanks, goudah. And again, karen! Okay! I guess I'll take the time this weekend, because it's going to take some time! And fill out all the forms and then go to Kinko's and pay them $1000 for copies of all the stuff I have! I better print out everything I saved in email. Lord. I'll print it at work. LOL! I'll use all my ink up if I do it from home!

Thanks, you guys! I think it's a positive thing. Hell, I'd love to charge them for postage and copies! LOL! I can't even get a refund for overpayments let alone a check for my "services". LOL! I'm going for it. And we'll see what happens. It's going to be a job though! I don't think you guys realize how much crap I have regarding MTE!

Hey,
I think the reason your AG complaint was forwarded to Oklahoma is because MTE has another dba with an actual physical address in Oklahoma--they are Paycheck Today, located at 515 G SE, Miami, OK. I just defaulted with them on Friday and yesterday started getting calls and nasty e-mails. Oh, and I have sent them the letter revoking my ACH and wage assignments and quoting the OK law, a week ago. Yesterday, I filed a complaint with the OK AG and the BBB on them. So please include Paycheck Today in your list of MTE dba's. Thanks!
