i have to find out if i can stop ach debits from pdl companies that i need to stop taking payments every 2 weeks. also if they are legal in florida? how would i do that? my account is in the negative because of this and ive banked at my credit union for almost 15 years and dont want to ruin it.

It is legal but you can't take out more than $500 pdl in Florida. Also, you can have only 1 outstanding payday loan or cash advance in Florida. Do you know that PDL rollover is not permitted in the state? if you can't repay the loan within the time, you can extend it without any additional charge or interest.
So, immediately stop ACH by writing to the bank.

Can you tell us who these lenders are? We can tell you if these lenders are legal in your state. If they are illegal, then you have a chance to get a refund from them. But that is applicable only when you have paid more than the principal amount.

You can ask for a refund. If they are legal, they will give you that money,
