I wanted to clarify. I had 2 IPLs in Minnesota. The information is:

SSM taken 6/12/09 - 300 - not licensed in MN.
paid 6/26/09 - 90
paid 7/10/09 - 90
paid 7/25/09 - 90
paid 8/7/09 - 90
Total = $360

Ashland taken 6/12/09 - 300 - not licensed in MN.
paid 6/26/09 - 90
paid 7/10/09 - 90
paid 7/25/09 - 90
paid 8/7/09 - 90
Total = $360

This is the collection guy that has not stopped hounding me. I have had ALOT of PDLs in my time, non since 2009 and these guys just wont leave me alone. I have bank statements to prove all of this.

They are threatening to re-open my chapter 13, going to the trustee, contacting my lawyer. I filed a complaint with the BBB and will the MN AG.

Can I just ignore them.

As the lenders are not licensed in your state, so they won???t be able to take any legal action against you. You are required to pay them only the principal amount. As you have paid them more than the principal, then ask them for the refund. Close your bank account asap so that they can???t debit money from your account in future. If you have any complaints against those lenders, then you can contact with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - Division of Financial Examinations, 85 7th Place East, Suite 500 St. Paul MN 55101
# Phone - (651) 296-2135
# Fax - (651) 296-8591
