I have one with ACE but they have worked with me and I only have 2 payments left.
I need to get out of this mess. Let me say that I can't close my checking account as it is a joint checking account. That is not an option. I did open a new account at another bank and am sending them all to that account. I have tried to do payment plans but have been told they can't do it until the payments are returned.
Can I revoke authorization to them, at the same time tell them they can only contact me at my home and email and then try to setup a payment plan with them? Will any of them take what I have paid as payment in full?
Who's the joint owner of your checking account and why can't you

I am so glad you came here! It's going to get better, trust me.
I am so glad you came here! It's going to get better, trust me. First off, do you need the co-owner of your checking account to agree to close it in order to close it? They might as well, since the account will potentially be getting hit.
There is legwork you need to do to get out of this mess. First: out of these loans, how many are internet and how many are storefront? This is important, because the storefront ones are usually licensed in your state and should be taken care of first, as they could potentially take you to court.
Second, you need to draw up a payment plan and contact all your lenders, stating what you can afford. If they accept your money orders and say they don't do payment plans, guess what: they do or else they never would have taken your money order!
Third, do NOT give out your new account number for any reason, as they will try and hit it. Good luck and keep us posted.
