I am currently in a DMP and the PDL companies are aware of this and aren't accepting the proposal.

They are debiting double and triple the amount that I paid previously. My bank refuses to close the account because of the negative balance (Due to overdraft fees) and pending transactions.

My account will soon be in collections and I don't have a lump sum for the negative balance. I don't know what else to do. I know I run the risk of being reported to Chex but I don't have any other recourse.

Does anyone have any advice?

All DMP's are done under voluntary cooperation. No creditor is forced to participate.

Have you done an ach revocation?? You send a ACH revocation to each lender and then give a copy to your bank. It is federal law that both must comply with.

see the manager of the bank, and only the manager.get th account put on "deposits only"status.that will bring the account positive so they can close it and open a new one not linked to the old one.again see the manager only bring the revocations and get the account on"deposits only"that means no debits period.however it is only a temporary tool to help you get the account positive.do that asap.
