I am so glad i found this place

I dont know what to do and I keep crying al day long. I have 13 payday loans and i cant payany more. What can I do? My boyfriend is going to really be mad when he find out.

I'm glad you found this place too! Take a deep breath, you're not alone. Someone will be along shortly to give you some great advice.

You will first need to give a little more information:

What companies you're dealing with
What is the original amount of each loan
How much have you paid each of them so far
Are they internet or storefront loans
What state do you live in

Please answer those questions and then they can help.

Best of luck! :)

I understand that you're scared ineedhelp. But please keep your chin up. It is scary, but the people here will be able to offer some great advice to help you figure out what to do. Take your time, but get all of that information mentioned earlier together:

1. Names of the comapnies:
2. Storefront or Internet Loans?
3. How much did you borrow from each one?
4. How much have you paid so far?

The laws that Morningstarr posted mean that payday loans are legal in your state. But we need to figure out if they are licensed companies, or if they have broken your state laws regarding payday loans. For instance, if they have loaned you more than $500 - that is illegal.

Come back soon with your info! :)

I know it is scarry, but i have only been reading things people have been talking about for a few days now, but it is so nice to know that I am not alone. Hang in there it does get easier. I have closed my checking account because I cannot keep paying these anymore and live. Not sure what is going to happen now, but I know that I cannot keep doing this and feeling sick all the time. Take care.

ineedhelp, do you have another thread going with your information on it? I seem to remember seeing other posts. Am I correct?

ineedhelp, okay, I see where you've posted your loans. Make sure I am correct here. I'm showing:

BIG borrowed 300 - you've paid 500 so far?
EastSide borrowed 600 - you've paid 425 so far?
Cash Transfer borrowed 500 - have you paid 500 yet?
PayDayOK - how much did you borrow & how much paid?
CashNet - is this CashNetUSA? This makes a difference because CashNetUSA is licensed/legal. The others are not going to be licensed/legal. And you're going to have to act quickly with Cash Transfer Centers. Highly illegal. Make sure I have your information. Do I have all the loans? Do I have all the borrowed amounts correct? And tell me exactly what you have paid each one so far. I'm assuming you haven't paid Cash Transfer anything yet because they take it all out at once. And, tell me how much you borrowed from PayDayOK and how much you've paid back.

ineedhelp, okay. I just took a look at your state pdl law. It does allow for 6 rollovers (holy cow!).

Rollovers Permitted: Six (borrower must reduce principal amount of loan by 5% or more upon each renewal)

However, it also states that criminal action is prohibited unless you stop payment on a check or close the account. So...... let's see here. These are illegal companies. With maybe the exception of CashNet. I still do not know if CashNet that you have is CashNetUSA - which would be licensed/legal. Cash Transfer Centers is going to try to suck that $500 on Friday. If you don't do anything regarding your bank account, all of these pdls are going to hit and your going to be in the negative. You've already overpaid some of them. However, since your state allows rollovers, it might not be illegal fees. So...... I'm thinking here. CashNet might be licensed/legal. PayDayOK I'm not sure, but they may be licensed/legal also. I know Cash Transfer Centers is not legal. I know BIG is not legal. I know EastSide is not legal. I'm concerned with CashNet and PayDayOK. What I'm going to do, ineedhelp, is send a message to one of our members who will indeed know if these are licensed/legal and if it would be okay to close your bank account, okay? So hang in there for me and I'm going to send a message. Now, it might be tomorrow before we get an answer, but that's okay. We can work more on it tomorrow when we know for sure what we can do. Do not worry. You are not going to jail. Hang on. I'll get our other member to take a look at all of this and post what your options are. Do not worry. We are going to help you with this all. I promise. Just hang on. We'll get an answer.
