Van, I am sure it is just a scare tactic to get you to call. I suppose they mean that you have one chance to call them , before they call you again.LOl
Seriously, you know how these people operate, and you know that they will say anything .Have ypu defaulted on this loan. I assume because it is a store front that you need to arrange payments with them .

But if I were you I would call and try to speak with a manager or even try to find a corporate office if Ace has one. Tell them what this guy told you.

Goudah is right- store fronts aren't the ones to mess with!
Here is our town, they do sue-pretty regularly.
Call and see what they can work out with you-or better yet, go there.
I went in person several times and spoke with my store front ones, told them I was going through a rough time, wanted to pay them, and what can I do? They always worked with me- guess I was lucky-
Good Luck..KAren

I have found that the store fronts are very easy to deal with (as I have dealt with two of them). Just approach them either in person as bossy stated or send them a letter. If they are legal which most likely they are and will have no problems suing to get their money back if you don't have arrangements set up with them.
It is in your best interest to contact them before it's too late. Better to be proactive in this situation.

ok, so I call the guy before the "deadline time" he
gave me and guess what he has already called and talked to my superviser's boss!!! I'm crying right now, I'm so embarressed I just don't know what to do.
he said that he told my boss that he was going to talk to his boss to find out what he need to know.
I said why did you do that when you gave me a time to call, and I called by that time? he said because you have had chances to pay this off and have not and if you don't get the money somehow to pay it off, we are going to contact them again and go further with it!
I just can't believe this has happened!!!
so far my supervisor or his boss has not said anything to me, I could just die! I feel like jumping out of this building right now!!!! I just don't know how to handle this!!!

Van, do not be embarassed. Meet this head on. Request a meeting with your boss and his boss. Tell them you are dealing with a company that has been illegally debting your chceking account. Tell them you are doing your best to handle this on your own becuase you can not afford a lawyer. That you are working with your state regulaing agency on this and have filed a complaint with the FTC and BBB in regards to this matter. Tell them you sent them a legal cease and desist letter frobiding them from contacting you unless in writing and they refuse to comply with federal regulations. Thell them you have done everything you can to work with this company however, they keep breaking the law. You would be happy to asnwer any questions and/or provide any documentation the request to verify this claim. If you go in there knowing your stuff, you may find they support you. Van youalso need to do as goudah suggested and find out if there is a corporate office somewhere that you can contact.
