Hello all,

I have payday loans all from the internet. I live in GA where there are strict payday loan laws and none are licensed.

I have:

Western Sky
Four Seasons
Great Sky
Plain Green

I am currently just paying the interest and its really killing me financially.
From what I have read on here it looks like I have to abide by the laws for each state where the pdl is licensed. Can someone please help me to figure out where that is and what my next steps should be. I would like to set up payment schedules to pay off the principal.

Thanks for you help. What an amazing site this is!

MEC

if you can we need some more info.

1)amount borrowed from each
2)amount debited by each thus far

you see yes all are illegal not only in georgia, but in every state.so not only do you only owe the principle, but anything debited they call fees gets deducted from that.please do as SOAPLADY advised and close your account asap.see the manager for this, and only the manager.next got to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of this forum.it has all you need to get this illegals out of your life.last thing georgia is non-garnishment so if they threaten that know it's an empty threat.

Lending of pdls are prohibited in the state of Georgia. It means all the payday lenders in this state are illegal. You are required to pay only the principal amount as they are not licensed to operate in your state. If you have already paid them more than the principal amount, then you can ask them for the refund. Illegal payday lenders can???t take any legal action against you. Hi,

Look, as payday loans are illegal in Georgia, you're not liable to repay the interest rates on all your loans. Now if you even face financial difficulty to make payments towards the principal balance, you must contact a debt consolidation company. Get your loans consolidated so that you can easily repay the entire amount in small and affordable monthly installments. Your credit score will also remain intact if you choose consolidating them. And if you feel you cannot repay the entire principal balance that you owe, it's better you go for settlement.
