Hello. Me and my husband are in a neverending cycle of pay day loans. Please help/Advise...We have 2 small kids at home who are suffering for our bad choices.

-National Cash Advance $1200

- Cashland $890

-Check Smart $350

-Quick Cash $550...

How can we get out of this? Who can help? My husband is considering a payday loan consolidation, which said they will pay all these down, and stop the calls for 220$ a check, or 440$ a month. Solid Ground Financial is the company. Any help?

What state do you live in? Are your lenders licensed in your state? If they are illegal, then you owe them nothing more than the principal. Don’t pay them any interest or fees. If they are licensed, then you owe them both the principal and interest. In this case it would be better for you to consolidate your debts yourself. Don’t hire a debt relief company as they will charge a heavy fee.

I enrolled in a Payday Consolidation company myself, but decided to research the company before the so-called "program" started. Most consolidation companies take your money and it doesn't go to anyone but them. It's so sad that you can't trust anyone in the world anymore. Everyone on here has helped me tremendously and you know the best part about it? It's free! Why pay $220 a payday for something that's not guaranteed? Payday consolidation companies can't guarantee they can settle your debt anyways.

Exactly - and they usually settle your debt and take 40% or more as a fee. So if you had a 500 dollar loan and they "settle" it with the PDL company (who they probably are in cahoots with anyway) for 400 you still end up paying the company 160 dollars.
