I live in Texas and can't figure out if they are legal here. I borrowed $1000.00 which I have paid. They did put me on a payment plan of 5 payments of $250.00 which I have made 2 of those payments so I have paid $1500.00 total. I know it sounds if I want to have my cake and eat it too but my wife lost her job and we are unable to make the next 3 payments on my next pay dates.
