Thank you so much! I used a letter template that you, Steve, had posted on another forum and sent it to the lenders. I received an email from Mobiloans saying that I was PIF and they would no longer attempt to draft my account. I cannot log into MoneyShopUSA anymore so I assume that they have removed my account info. Haven't heard anything from VIPCash/QLoot but I heard they were hard to deal with so I still closed that account as a precaution. I was quite suprised at the quick results, without one harrassing phone call!! I wonder if they will give me a refund as requested but just the fact that they aren't bothering me is great enough! Thanks again!
Well, we got a bit of good
Well, we got a bit of good news for you. You are done paying these illegal lenders. You do not need to repay them anything more than the total principal amount you borrowed originally, no interest or finance fees. In your case, you have already overpaid all of them. Now you have a task at hand and there are multiple steps you need to take to protect yourself.
1. Revoke ACH authorization in writing with your bank and the lender. Send a copy to the bank and another to your lender.
2. Revoke any voluntary wage assignments in writing as well. Send a copy to the lender and another to your payroll/HR.
3. Contact your lenders in writing and demand a PIF letter and a refund of the amount you paid over and above the principal you originally borrowed.
4. File complaints with the AG and the FTC.
5. Ignore the badgering phone calls that would follow.
You have nothing to worry about. Just follow the steps and you will be out of the jam.
Are you due a refund for VIP
Are you due a refund for VIP/Qloot? If so, contact David Cobbett, DMA Financial Corp., Chief Compliance Officer, 1700 E. Desert Inn Rd., Ste. 207, Las Vegas, NV 89169 or email david@qloot.com Awhile back I had a loan thru them and after going back and forth, I was given a refund. I hope that the info I have still applies. Good luck!
All of your lenders are
All of your lenders are illegal mate. You can close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your bank account. Don’t pay them an extra penny other than the principal.
